Hi, i live in England at the moment but i have overstayed my visa. My fiance is American citizen, she has been to see me in England several times(morethan 6 times) over 2yrs. we re planning to apply for k1, is it possible to apply for k1 for me while in England(US consolate in England) or i need to go to my home country-which is not England. Thanks

you do not have to be in your home country but you are supposed to be a legal resident somewhere

they don't really check the status abroad that much
