Confused marrying in Las Vegas

My British fiance` and I would like to marry (as strange as it may be) in Vegas. He has never been out of the UK and we thought it would be fun. He is coming home with me to Florida in Jan. 2009 (I am living in Scotland). What must we do in order to have our marriage be legal here, but also in the UK?

P.S. We will be having a proper wedding also in Scotland or England for all friends and family there

It has no residency requirement.

Basic documentation:
UK residents can marry in Las Vegas provided you have the appropriate documentation:

Complete a marriage license application. You will both need to be present in order to obtain the license.
A valid 10-year passport
A birth certificate

Great information but you should contact a marriage lawyer in Las Vegas. A Las Vegas family lawyer can help you. I found one that is reptuable and experienced.
