residence question

Default residence question

my wife is in the process of becoming a US. Citizen. She will be petitioning for me shortly after (I-130). we are mainitainig different residence because of our school. How will this affect the petition i.e must we maintain the same residence?

It is not 100% required but your overall circumstances will be closely examined to see if this a real marriage.

And it of course does not help to be living apart.
