K1 Visa Interview
Hi, I am Theresa (beneficiaries) from Philippines living here in Thailand for 4 years.We applied for a fiance(e) visa and my interview date is on June 23, 2008(Bangkok Consulate). My problem is my visa and work permit here in Thailand is going to expire by May 31,2008. I'm wondering If am I going to have any problem on my interview day if I resign in the school where I work and just extend my visa here in Thailand to be present in my US immigration interview(Bangkok consulate)?I don't want to sign our school contract where I work now because I know I am leaving soon.Also, it takes more than a month before I finish my visa and work permit in here Thailand.

I had a similar situation in Costa Rica and it did not seem to be a problem.
Could you also call the embassy to discuss? They could probably let you know and that would give you further piece of mind. |
