Default No way to get married

If somebody enters the US for a K1 visa and there is no way to get married is there any possibility that she can change her status?

I believe you will need to leave the country in order to re-enter as a different kind of immigrant or non-immigrant. If you do not marry, you cannot apply for a student or visitor visa.
