I was layed off by my employer in May, not fired but truly laid off and when I went to collect my unemployment he fought it and I have not rec'd a dime of the 7,200.00 I should of gotten. My ex-employer came to the hearing that was held by the unemployment office and he fabricated stores, lied and changed dates with no verified documents and they believed him and not me.
I guess what I would like to know is: Do you think I would have a chance if I was to take this further and file a "Writ of Mandate" and try to get the money I rightfull should have gotten. Does anybody ever win in this situtation... or do you have any sugestions on what I could do in my case? Thanks, Patricia Alexander |

You can take further action. You could even file a police report if you can shoe they really did fabricate evidence or change documents etc.
