Amanager accused me of following an employee to the bathroom and standing out side the door and talking to him through the wall, this employee was male. I told the owner and manager at the time, Cathy, that this employee had left two different times from work early, one time 30 minutes early, the second time s15 minutes early, and left me to close by myself at night. He was written up and warned that if it happened again that he would be fired. The employee told the manager this because he was getting back at me. I had a pop bottle in my hand and we were headed in the same direction as the bathrooms, the office cubby hole is before you get to the bathrooms and I was going to throw my pop bottle in the office in a sack that is there just for that purpose. The guy rounded on me and stated that he was going to the bathroom, i really thought that was weird, because I knew he was headed there, and it had nothing to do with me and where I was going. The manager left early one day and I called Cathy and asked if she had made him manager yet and she said no. I told her that he had just left 30 minutes early. She said that he had cleared it with her, and I stated that things were cool, I was just checking. It was after this that Wes, stated to me and Darla that he was leaving early, he then got in my face and stated that if I wanted to tell on him to go ahead. I just smiled and shook my head, I was not going to reply to his aggressive attitude, It was after this that the bathroom incident came up. Him and the guy Aaron that left me to close by myself twice are good friends. A lot of stuff started happening after this, the manager Wes accused me of leaving chairs out while closing one night, I asked him how many and he thought about it before he answered and said 2. I told him that that was really interesting because I knew he was lying. I left no chairs out the night before, the next morning i went to wallmart at seven am and there was no chair outside the building, i came back through at aproximately 8:30 am on my way to the court house for a 9 am apointment. There were no chairs outside the building. He comes in at 9:30 in the morning when he opens up to get things ready for the store to open at 11 am. There could not have been any chairs out there when he came to work to open the store. I have always turned the radio down while working a this place called Logger's Gourmet Pizza. I have been working there for about 3 months. Two customers have complained that the music was way to loud and that they could hear it out in the parking lot before they even got to the doors of the store. The even asked me how I could hear myself think with the music that loud. I told them that it was a good question. There was a meeting, actually three different meetings on day in the place of business, Wes the manager was there, the people had to keep speaking louder to hear themselves over the radio and the other people in there. I turned the radio down out of respect for them. Two people in the meeting was the owner, Sam Gross and his mother, the manager, Cathy. This really made the store manager Wes very mad, I could see him when I turned around to look, he was standing behing me at the table where we make pizzas and he was really mad, you could tell he was really wanting to lay into me good, it was very visible. He knew enoug to not do it because the owner and his mother was there. When they left later that evening, Wes waited to tell me about the radio, just before he left to go home. He sat at the table shaking his head at me and tellling me to leave the radio alone and to never torn it down again for any reason. I explained to him why I did it and that it was way to loud and it was also hard to hear on the phone to take the customer's orders when they called in so i turned it down that morning. He just shook his head no and said to never touch the radio again that it was something that just had to be because it was a part of work. A few days later, Cathy came by the store and I told her that this was the second day that we had to wear dirty aprons at work, She was very upset and demanded to know why Wes had not done the laundry, I told her she would have to ask him. She told me to call him and leave a message with him about the aprons. He texted me back and said that he would have them there that evening. He came in about three hours later and brought the aprons with him. The next day was when he jumped me about the chairs and then he told me in front of Darla that I was to never to call Cathy about anything that happened at work for any reason what so ever, under any circumstances. I was never to call her again. What a major egotistical, arrogant, control freak. This guy has major problems. He is harrassing me at work. I told Cathy that I was fully expecting retaliation form this guy and she asked me if I was kidding or just really meant it. I told her that I meant it. I have all of this documents with dates and the incidents. What do I do if this manager keeps harrassing me at work with bogus stuff. I am afraid of losing my job because of this guy.

Keep good records but as a general rule you just have to deal with bad co-workers...You could consult your nearest Department of Labor office to briefly discuss the issue with them first...you may also want to ask the company to put what is happening in writing and explain to them that you may have attorneys review the situation...try speaking to a higher level of management about the issue; they may override the other managers and remove the guy or warn him etc. If none of these efforts resolves the issue, let us know.
