Is this harrassment?

Tampa: My boss lifted her hand and went like she was going to slap me (too bad she did not). Can I sue her because now I am afraid to go to her office alone?

Yes -- this is a form of harassment and actually could constitute and assault type of criminal offense. The first thing to do is go to U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and file a complaint. Secondly, contact your local police department and file a report. It will be very important to mention the names of any witnesses. Also, you should definitely report the matter to your immediate supervisor and/or human resources according to your company's policies and procedures. If you really felt there was a possibility she might hit then yes that is illegal and also shd be reported to management--
