Worker rights to comfortable work environment

Hey, so here is my situation that I find very unfair to me. I am an assembly line worker which allows radios on the line, therfore we are able to listen to them. One of my coworkers insists on having his radio really loud, even though it is not at his station. This loud music has impaired my ability to perform my job, giving me a headache. I have made it clear to my supervisors that the music is too loud, and a few others around me agree. Yesterday, the music was silenced and the coworker said that he couldnt work without the music. He left for home early. Today, the music was not silenced and I got into a verbal altercation with my superiors as well as the coworker. I did not swear, but I did proceed to yell becuase nothing was being done. It is not yet clear if i will be facing disiplinary action. During the altercation, one of my supervisors did swear at me, even though I did not swear at him. The issue is if I have any rights to a comfortable work environment, are my rights being infringed upon? Quick answers or advice would be greatly apreciated

Normally loud music is not allowed in any work place.

See if you can protest to higher managers firstly...you have no union?
