I am a federal employee. The EEOC (Federal Operations) found that the Social Security Administration (SSA) discriminated based on race and ordered SSA to take corrective action which included promotion and back pay. SSA had until January 16, 2007 to comply and did not. My deadline for filing a civil action is February 16. Is a civil action the only way to compel SSA to comply with the EEOC order?

EEOC can also take certain actions; contact them asap to discuss and review. Meet with counsel as well before the deadline.
