Lightbulb Absenteeism considered Misconduct?

I was recently fired for absenteeism and have been collecting unemployment. The company HR person has now filed ab appeal and is stating that it was for "Repeated and willfull misconduct" I have been sick more this year than any, I have very bad sinus allergies and digestive problems. My job was speaking with customers over the phone, so if I am sneezing constantly or needing to go to the restroom then I cant effectivly take care of them. Also I had several viruses, as did my family at home, so I chose to stay home as to not infect the rest of the office. I was told the time I missed was unacceptable, even though we were very slow. Also to stay home and care for my Fiancee was not acceptable, only myself or my child. This was told directly to me by the owner. He was not able to drive himself to or from the walk-in because of pain and then medication he recieved from an I.V. All write up paperwork stated absenteeism up until the last one that was my termination papers. I never saw that one nor was I asked to sign it. This started also because I was emailing complaints to the Plant manager about the blatant discrimination that was going on between the men and women. He wouldnt respond to me because he was part of it and then all the problems started, including moving my desk to a location that was very disrupting. I was told that the owner wont fire anyone, he just makes your life a living hell until you quit. I refused to quit, so now I have been fired. there is also lots of sexual harassment going on there and as I said before, major discrimination. Any advise????
