Confused Harassment at work

Fifteen weeks ago I started a new teaching position. I was hired to take
the place of a teacher who I understand just left. The first week went
well, but the weeks to follow were extremely difficult. I was told that I
would have four Teaching Assistants in my room. One quit only a few days
after I started. Another Teaching Assistant was very strong and wanted to
run the room. One did as little as possible and the fourth was very
supportive. I eventually found out that the two teachers before me left
because of administration not supporting the teachers but the Teaching
Assistants. Over time I was very harassed and made very uncomfortable by
two of my TAs, the speech therapist, social worker and my superior. The
childish tattling became so nerve-wracking that I did not want to go to work
to my new job every morning. These five people proved to be very
unprofessional and demeaning to people who refuse to play their games. They shunned me, talked behind my back, and ! were very disrespectful to me in the classroom and outside the classroom.
This rude clique lied about things that I said, criticized much of what I
did and were very unsupportive. This maltreatment became so unbearable that I submitted my resignation as did the two previous teachers before me. This has been a brief description of what occurred. I wanted to know if I had a legitimate case against this school. I am 53 years old. I have worked my whole, adult life and never have I been treated in such a poor manner. My financial state has been seriously compromised and my husband is now under much unfair pressure. Do I have a case?
