please help.....all advice is needed and appreciated

i just have a general question that has yet to be answered because i cannot find an attorney who is willing to answer this without a huge fee...

but....ima give this a try...and hopefully i get a response......

my wife has contacted the labor board here in colorado to pursue a case against her current employer. She's pursuing a case dealing with discrimination with her boss who also denied her maternity leave with job security. its a definate case....this happened in december of 2007

now my question is.....will she have to remain employed with this company to still have a case? or will she be able to search for new employment with no worries about losing this case. this companys location is closing in may...they have other stores open around the us....and the case is against the corporate office of this company...

if she's going to be without a job anyway in may.....it shouldn't affect her case if she quits with proper notice would it?
