I asked someone close to me to get the domain name for the website for my business (an LLC). They got it with their credit card and I gave them cash but there's no record of a transaction. We have since gotten into a bitter fight and the website now has a lot of personal damaging info about me on it. They registered the website in their name and are the official registrant. Is there any way to get the website back? If not, can they still leave the damaging personal info up?

You can sue them in court and get a court order if they were acting on your instructions that was the orginal agreement.
