Personal information used without consent
Hello, I joined a datig website for a short while and then was told that due to irregularities in my account, it had been deleted. However, 6 months on, my personal information including pictures, have been used by the parent company in their other sites' advertisement pages i.e. public.
I have written to the company in question several times, and their reply is invariably the same. You have been removed from our system. However, I had never been a member of that particular dating site, and my personal information still persists on their advertisement pages. Is there anything I can do about this? Thanks in advance. |

You can threaten to sue them if they use your image w/o permission.
