EEK! husband posted private pics w/out my permission?

i recently discovered that some very personal photographs that my husband and i took of myself in sexy poses, under the agreement that they were for his eyes only, were then posted BY HIM to a pornographic website to not only share with the other viewers on this forum, but also possibly in the hopes that someone would see them and be interested in having sex with me. I only found this out by chance; he was hiding it from me. Is this illegal? What are my rights? Can I sue? We live in Michigan and I am considering divorce over this.

I am, among other things, horribly, horribly humiliated by this, so any light that you can shed would be appreciated. thanks.

You can divorce him and he will be punised to some extent in that proceeding we would assume.

If you don't divorce the courts and police are often likely to view it as a domestic matter.

But you could also file a police report as it is a crime if the pictures were posted without your permission.

Unhappy Re: husband posted private pics w/out my permission?

This message is in response to the woman whose husband posted her pictures to the internet. You are not alone!! This exact same thing happened to me a little over two years ago! My husband posted it for the exact same reason. He also set up an email account with my name and personal information without my consent in order for people to respond to the posting, I would imagine. I too was humiliated. Looking back now, it was his way of getting me to do something I refused to do in a round about way. We are now in the process of a divorce.

Is there a statute of limitation on this type of crime? What are my rights?

My husband also is sending pictures of me that were for his eyes only to various objectionable people posing as ME...my question is how can one prove that permission was given?...wouldn't it be ...your word against mine?..more importantly how can I remove my pictures from his email?
