I am hoping to seek some type of legal consult in a case where a person that I know has been online-stalking me for some time now, has hacked into my computer, stole private and almost pornographic photos taken of me by an ex-boyfriend of mine in my days of being naive and posted them online-- I am horrified and traumatized by this individual, who has set up a website with my real name, birthdate, and ADDRESS as this person pretends to be ME on one of the most popular websites in the WORLD, also known as Myspace.com. Family members and school-mates can see this identity when searching for me -- She claims my pictures and my name -- I have tracked her I.P Address and even have a message from her stating to an ex-boyfriend of mine that she is on a \"cruisade\" to \'get me.\' I really don\'t know my rights regarding \"Cyber Law\" but I know there are laws against this and I feel with all my heart that I have a case against this individual. I\'ve even video-documented the site, the URL of the site, and even the IP Address of the user when she was tracked as she messaged my ex-boyfriend.. I\'ll be grateful for whatever help you can provide me with, whether it be referral or just useful information - I am desperate to know if what\'s been done to me (and if the proof I have) is enough to build a case against this individual, and where should I proceed in finding an attorney who specializes in this type of thing.
