Forum won't delete profile/ account

So a forum won't delete my account. I know they aren't under obligation to do such. I am looking for a way to batter them until it becomes more of a PITA to keep my account than delete it. Again, I'm not looking to win the case, just to bother them enough that they'll do what I ask.

Any advice? Preferably something that will cost them money to defend against.

I wish to inform you that you can give a notice to the forum that your account must be deleted. This will enable you to have settlement platform with the forum. You may also have a lawsuit whereby you can request court to grant you necessary relief. Before the court decide you can settle the case.

Have you actually read the TOS? Many of them now make every bit of info you give them (including a username) their property.

My best suggestion is that you log on and change all your info (email, etc) to something bogus. Change your username if possible, and your avi if you have one.

Think about all of the public places that your name and information could be about you. In states you can go on to court web sites and find out the persons date of birth, criminal acts they have done and been charged for etc....
