Is hacking email password a crime or not?

Is Hacking into email/ password a crime or not? If crime how severe is it? and How to report the same. |

Hacking email/password is a crime comes under cyber law. The percentage of criminality depends on the harm caused by hacking. Whenever a cyber crime has noticed the first action is to make a complaint in detail to the cyber crime investigation cell.

Yes it is a crime and you can file a police report. Some departments will take action others will not.
If you have signed in yahoo in the last 4 months and it wont take your sign in details some one has probably hacked your account. What you can do if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.you can report them and change password at link below if possible. |
