Is my website legal? (liability and legality of a website)

I am currently working on a charity site www.shoskinforcharity.org I just want to make sure I am legal before I get too far over my head.

I wish to inform you that laws of the state where your website is registered will determine your liability and legality of a website. Generally, in this regard you may first check whether your employer non profit organization is registered or not. Non Profit Organization are required to be registered in state. Any act of non profit outside the charter of the organization is not allowed. Every non profit organization is allowed to work for the purpose for which it is formed. Further if photos are taken without consent or of a minor child then it may be unlawful.

I am not handling any of the money and nobody actually donates too me, they pick their own charity to donate too. Do I still need to register?
