Over a year ago I had a hardware keylogger on my home computer. Someone I knew used my computer knowing this was on. I no longer have my home computer but still have access to the info on it. I have recently been told that this person and their friend caused damage to my car. My question is, Is it illegal to access their email to see if I can find information about this? Or is the old adage correct in 'two wrongs don't make a right'?

It is not legal.
Sue them and depose them or do whatever but you cannot legally hack into the account and monitor it. |
