Hello, recently our ISP [NCTV (dot) com] has limited my bandwidth. I went from 6mbit to 512kbit. They said I was an excessive burden on their network. The usage that I was using was only 160GB monthly. They mentioned that during peak hours I was making it hard for their other customers to use their internet.
Is that legal? |

160GB is a LOT of data. The typical song can be anywhere from 2-4MB so lets say 3MB per song and that's about 55-56 THOUSAND songs. So they have every right to limit your bandwidth UNLESS your provider is giving you "unlimited" access, in which case, you can protest it.
