Lightbulb account banned, without proof of allegation

I am not sure if anyone will be able to help me. I am a member of a world wide chat forum, and last week i had my account removed. The claim is that i was in breech of the ToS. A serious allegation has been made against me. The abuse dept have not provided any proof or evidence of what i am supposed to have done.
i was not even online at the time of the supposed offence.
i have also found out that three others were banned of the same offence, one has had her account reinstated, yet when i phoned the HQ they claim that mine can not be. Offering no explanation as to why.

i must point out that i live in the UK and the HQ for the site is in California, therefore i have no clue about what laws govern that state.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Default Re: account banned, without proof of allegation

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... You may also report them to their state attorney general's office. Or world law attorneys could also become directly involved, though they normally do charge a basic fee for that.
