Account gone ?

Hello my name is Pieter-Jan and i was the owner of anarchy online ( MMORPG )account. Recently i whend on a mission for the belgium army and like i always do i goave my brother the account details of all my gaming accounts and bank accounts and so on. Now it happens to be that my brother sold one of my AO accounts.

I am prefectly honest i didn't think i would get it back from FC ( funcom = maker of AO ). But i also didn't think that if i would tell them what happend they would let the other person keep the account. As one of the rules state ( EULA 9 )

You may not use any third party software to modify the client in order to change Game play or manipulate the client. You may not use any means of unattended gameplay, this includes macros not supported by the in-game client, mechanical means, or any other means deemed to be in violation by Funcom. You may not use our intellectual property rights contained in the Game or the Software to create or provide any other means through which the Game may be played by others, as through server emulators. You may not take any action which imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure. You may not transfer any Funcom intellectual property including characters, items, coin or copyrighted material based on any sale outside the ingame economy, this includes giving mentioned Funcom intellectual property away as incentives or "freebies" to a sale. You may not sell, buy or auction any Funcom characters, items, coin or copyrighted material.

And as i rather see my account perma baned than to see some person running around with my hard work. Is there anything that i can do ?

You can try to ask for special consideration but you did give the account over and normally you are responsible when you do that for what the person does.

But they may work with you if you really are persistent.

Maybe world law could help you if need be.

I hope they can. As i rather see this account perma banned than some random person running around with my hard work.
