I play an online game called Rumble Fighter, my account was banned this Thursday, March 26th 2009. The justification I received for the banning-from the company- is categorized as "Fraudulent Cash Transactions".
Within this game there is an in game currency, called Carats, which are raised by users through playing the game. There is also a currency which players may purchase with dollars, which then convert to what OGPlanet calls "Astros". The details of the ban, which I received from the company: Your account has been blocked for accepting fraudulently purchased gift(s) from another player. Unfortunately due to your IP Address relation to this player we will be unable to provide you with the opportunity to pay for the gift(s). As such this account will remain permanently blocked. They are not releasing any specific information in regards to a transaction to me as the account holder. I contacted my Bank and they are saying that my transactions are clean, my account is active and that there is no sign of fraudulent activity present. Let me mind you that in accordance to the agreement of the game account sharing is a ground for banning people. I did not account share meaning I am fully responsible for the actions of my character, furthermore when I asked the supervisor on the phone he said that there is no record of someone accessing my account besides me. That was strange to begin with in that he claimed that the fraud was directly associated with my IP Address, and having my bank's results it doesn't making any logical sense for him to claim that I am engaged or associated with "Fraud Cash Transactions". Second, the supervisor said that two other gaming services have reported my card as fraudulent, even though I do not play any other games. He continuously said that my account will remain banned and he even spoke to my mother without realizing I am legally an adult myself. Ultimately it came down to him agreeing to release information to an attorney but not to me as the account holder. If my check card/paypal account had been hacked, I'm sure that I would be missing money and that my bank would have notified me, but there is no suspicious activity. Also, the company has said that they will not receive or pay any attention to requested support for my account and have banned me from sending any tickets to their support department (they only provide access to their support department through their website). The only way I can contact them is through phone and by talking to their Billing Department...supposedly no other department has a phone. Another note: I have spent $670.22 on this game and I have also spent nearly two years on this account. For this "gentle"man to tell me that my account will be banned with insufficient justification does not seem proper in the least bit. Thank you, Alex What do I do ? x.x Here is their User Agreement in its entirety which I agreed upon on the day of creating my account (Nearly two years ago, yet somehow under the agreement it says that it has been updated this year again) OGPlanet.com - It's Your World |
