Hi,
I stupidly signed someone up with one of those free computer websites that signs you up for spam and ads and trial offers. I used my own computer from my i.p. adress. When I entered that person's e-mail adress all of their street adress info was automatically filled in. so I continued. What kind of legal trouble can I be in? That person blames me but I assume they need a court order to free up my i.p. adress info. Thanks, Stupid Here |

Well that wasn't great but it is not the worst thing in the world--if they did sue you they could try to collect for the damages of removing or dealing with the spam etc.
