Well, yes there was a storm in the Domican Republic but the Swisscash servers were all in Prolexic Technologies facilities in Hollywood, Florida. I don't see how the storm could have affected it.

Also I doubt the storm was able to edit the Domain Name Record to delete all the DNS Records. It is definitely done by a human. Besides a datacenter should be able to withstand any storm.
