I read with interest that the receiver for 12dailypro
(paid surfing site) is seeking to get money back from in-profit investors, both in the US and other countries. Malaysia was mentioned in something I read. Can someone outline the steps this involves? How does the court get the legal muscle to have an impact in other countries? Are there precedents here? |

Not sure what you saw but many nations have treaties between themselves that allow court proceedings in one country to be valid and binding in another--subject to some restrictions...

Oh, that sounds just GREAT!
They'll have to locate all the "in profit" folks, serve them with a lawsuit, get a judgment and then depose them to find their assets -- if there are any left. Oh, and then COLLECT. |
