I joined this site called Spadester.com, where you deposit money, and use the money in your Spadester account towards buying yourself into spades games. You could join a game starting at $1, anywhere to $200. The minimum you have to deposit is $30, as I have done (Just to be on the safe side). So I played, won, got my money up, and decided it's time to withdraw because I needed the money. A very nice woman named Julie deposited my money to my credit card. So I was influenced that it wasn't a scam. One day I decided to deposit money a 2nd time, and again, won, got my money up, and it comes time to withdraw, I don't know where this nice woman named Julie went, but this prick that could barely speak English named Nick Webber, responded saying that my money will be on my Payoneer card (A card that MasterCard provides to anyone who signs up for it, and whom Spadester provides to their "customers" (more like victims) to make it seem as if their company is legitimate.) Well, a month went by and I have not seen my money on my Payoneer card, So I sent Mr.Webber a message, and he replies that I am being impatient, and that If I contact him again regarding my withdraw that my payout request would be void, and null. Even the $30 I deposited to play the games. So to me this just sounded like an excuse, and an opportunity for him, to make it look like I am at fault, so he would have one less lawsuit, if anyone ever decided to sue him, (and of course so he didn't have to give me my money), when in fact he had no intention on giving me my money in the first place. So my suspicion grew..I began searching the web for other victims, long behold, there are 2 others who have come forward, stating that Spadester has failed to give them their $3,000, and here I am worried about just $170...Hey, money is money...I've also researched that this company is based out of Cyprus. Is there anything we can do to get our money back from these con artists? If there are any lawyers out there willing to help me, or anyone with advice please post it, and give me some insight...Thanks for your time.

You've been scammed, just like many, many others. Spadester started as a pyramid scam, honoring some payout requests in order to get larger deposits, and then stopped all payouts. When did you get your initial payout? The date would be useful to help pinpoint when the payouts stopped. Personally, I received a payout in April 2008, along with a promise of a special 150% bonus if I made another depoist.
Spadester asks for so much personal information that is seems likely they are also attempting an identity theft business, although I have not seen any postings to that effect. Let's try to make these postings available to anybody who web searches for: spadester payout fraud scam criminal withdrawal Nick Webber |

Yeah, I figured as much. I was suspicious when they asked me for a copy of my credit card for identification verification purposes but then I figured hey, they haven't asked me for my social security number so it must be safe..*sigh* The sad part is I first learned of Spadester.com from a TV commercial. That goes to show you that you can't trust everything you see on TV. They have also sent me all kinds of offers 100% bonus here, 150% bonus there, Free $5 Happy Tuesday here, but no $5 actually deposited to my Spadester account. What cracks me up is the $3k roll out. If they can afford to give the player with the most games $3k every month, then why do they have to steal our money? The last (and only) payout I received was in July of 08. I still want my damn money, I don't care if it's only the $30 initial deposit I made just to play. How could we add this thread to the Google, and Yahoo search engines? So that more people will come forward, and we can take action on these *****es. BTW, Thanks for posting, it's good (yet unfortunate) to know that someone knows what I am talking about. I don't know how there are still people playing there but I hope they get to read this.

man you guys should see some of the other people. They got scammed out of thousands of dollars. Thankfully I deposited nothing there. I signed up through their free $4 promotion. Than all of the sudden I was in the middle of a game and it froze. Than I was booted out of the site. I came back in and someone was playing under my name at the table. Same with another player at the table. I wrote them an email. They replied to me with reassurance they will figure it out. So I sent them another email and they asked me who I was? LOL ok anyways, I told them to fk off. I sent a complaint to the FBI regarding fraud behavior and they told me to write a complaint to ic3.gov
I suggest you all do the same so these idiot scammers can be thrown in prison. |

There are several things which I figured out meanwhile:
1. Spadester is run by a company in Israel named New Reign. Their website also reveals their address and other details: newreign.com 2. People working at Spadester are using fake names, so Nick Webber for example does not exist in reality. This way they cover their illegal actions. 3. New Reign is owned by a man named Nir Ziso, no further details are known. |

Yes, it is confirmed that spadester is a scam.
I can tell you in regards to the $3000 winners... They can not get their money either. I personally talked to one of the winners that said they wont send a check for the payout. I have a friend that has a pending withdrawl that has been waiting for 2 months now and does not expect to see it at all. He has had the same run around that everyone else has had. The making excuses about "We are working on it"... ect. Thankfully, I just played with the $4 they gave me to start with. Best of luck to you. |

Please file a complaint with Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) | Home. That is a USA government organization with a mission to delegate to the proper authorities (perhaps law enforcement in Israel for spadester) to handle cyber crimes. The web filing is very easy to do.

I am in the exact same boat as everyone here. I have been trying to cash out for the past few months. Now they don't even respond to my Emails.
The thing that I don't understand is that if spadester actually did run a legitimate site and actually paid their customers, their site would be making a ton of money! They would have so many people playing there. Now what happens is that people make an initial deposit, see that it is a scam, and then never put money in again. I just don't understand, unless they are using our credit card info. |

Alright, I'm just going to follow this thread up here and hope that everyone who reads and has already posted does the following. I would file the complaint through the link posted above, but i'm going to do you guys one better. If you want to see something done about this send me an email with your screen name on the spadester site and your real name (no middle name needed) that's all. I'm going to begin putting together a class action suit against the site. I only have about $800 in the site, but to me it's the principle of them ripping people off. I gave them a nice warning and they then let my withdrawal go through, but we'll see if I ever receive it.
Here's my email where you should send your screen name and first and last name. Make the subject "SPADESTER SCAM" so I don't delete it by accident BryanMKing1204@yahoo.com. If you have any friends who've played and experienced this throw their info in the email as well. I've got a little list so far, but the more the quicker it will get resolved! |
