Ok i have a relative who thrives on various types of pyramid scams, has lost thousands and i can only assume some sort of gambling addiction is to blame...
Anyway, when i was told about P2P i was naturally scepticle and much to my incredible suprise a payment was actually just recieved in cold hard cash.. Now i am assuming it must be one of two things, either was lucky enough to be high enough up the pyramid to recieve money from the bottom OR this is some kind of identity theft... in order to claim money a electricity bill and drivers licence number are required, arnt they the two things that someone needs for ID theft? Of course if this is the case then sure you can afford to pay someone 25k as you just bought a villa in Italy under their name... Has anyone heard of ID theft in relation to this P2P or are we still assuming standard Pyramid? |

The point to this discussion is that the P2P program is not honest! It is a scam! Even though people are making money at it. It is still wrong. Are you going to start selling drugs to make money? No. So why do you feel comfortable participating in something that you have no way to know for certain is legal or not.
I looked into this also, and I couldn't find any concrete evidence that what the website tells you is acually what they are doing. I don't care how much money I can make before the ship sinks! It is wrong and some people still care about doing what is right! That's my two cents. |

I also heard he was getting $40,000 a month. I would most likely have to believe it's some sort of back office account software program that is telling these members they are raking in the dough. LOL

The Lies at Pathway 2 Poverty never stop......
The latest posted by Chris007: UPDATE 07/02/08 July 2nd,2008 Good afternoon P2Pers! I had an extensive conversation last night with Nick, and spoke with him again briefly today.. Nick and the P2P staff are asking for your patience as the issue with the server/host is resolved, and I should be hearing from Nick a little later today after he has got an update from the programmer later this afternoon. Chat Room Help! Anyone not able to access the chatroom is asked to email the following information to obtain the link to download the software as well as the password to access the room. Email " p2p.chatroom.help@gmail.com " and verify your P2P membership (don't email if you are not an active invested member): P2P Username: Email used at P2P: Details about your account to verify you are the account holder: (amount of deposit, date of plan purchase, ect ect) ONLY email if you can't access the chatroom and ONLY if you are active and invested. In the subject line enter "chat help please" If you need your P2P account activated, email me at "p2p.support*****is@gmail.com" and read carefully the autoresponded message with instructions for having your account activated. Please remember P2P has been around for the last 18 months, and is NOT going anywhere. This issue with the hosting/server will be resolved shortly, and Nick and the staff ask for your patience and professionalism. Please remember that P2P is NOT like a SURF or other online opportunity that may disappear in an instant - we're here to stay and are working on things behind the scenes to help ensure the longevity of the program. Cheers, Chris |

Okay. so you think it is a Ponzi or a Pyramid. Let's take a look at the actual math facts of what it would take to keep it going even for a year. Now you can argue with the facts if you want to but facts are facts. Here's the math: Right now I know of at least 25 people who are maxed out in one account and are on the 60 day plan which is currently running at 160.2% interest. That pays out at right over $40K every 60 days. that would be leaving your original $25K in to continue to earn interest. Okay 25 people doing this equals $1 million dollars every 60 days that is being paid out.
Okay what would it take to keep that running for even a year if it is a Ponzi or a Pyramid, that is the one's who are investing now are the one's money being used to do the pay outs. Most people that I know start small at around $1000. If that is the usual then it would take 1,000 people joining every 60 days to support the pay out of just 25 people who are maxed out. From reading the "I got paid" on the old forum and in the new forum I thinik the numbers are much greater than 25 people who are maxed out. And by the way if you were stealing from people wouldn't you want to steal as much as possible. If so why the $25,000 limit. I think the actual number of people maxed out is probably in the thousands. How many people would it take to support 1000 people being paid $40K every 60 days? I let you do the math on that one. If you have tried it and have not been paid then you have a right to speak. If you have never put any money on the line you are just a bunch of whiners. It takes absolutley nothing to be a critic. Anyone can be one by just opening up their mouth and let it fly. If takes more than that to be successful. You might want to try to invest in P2P before being a critic. It might be from all I am hearing and what I am actually experiencing that this is not a Ponzi or a Pyramid but actually a legitimate thing. If it were not and the police and other agencies who oversee this would have responded. I do believe they have not responded so I guess you are also wrong about that too. Best of luck as you continue to whine. I for one choose to act. |

[quote=Unregistered;38402]Okay. so you think it is a Ponzi or a Pyramid. blah blah blah/QUOTE]
Half or more of the larger payment reports are made by shills and insiders. Some are lying about how much they put in and payment amounts. Some are looking at numbers in accounts that will never turn into cash in hand. Few are actually paid large amounts. Same old, same old like all the rest of these scams. Watch and learn dummy. If nothing else at least you'll know next time before you put money into another HYIP scam. If you have money in there, then you may want to think about getting it out PDQ. If you even can now. |

and all this from a card carying member of the whywork.org forum. Anyone ever read the rantings on that website? Definitely a bunch of professional losers. I can see why so many P2P usernames, including 'countrytec', are members there.
