Or maybe since this is a SCAM board, people in P2P should worry about themselves (and their own money) and not what we have to say about the program. If it works for you that's fine. What difference does it make who says something about it if you are not dependent on new members to continue the payouts? On the other hand, if it is a SCAM, which i strongly believe it is--I wouldn't wish this type of money trap on my worst enemy. |

It's such a trip how emotional people get over this ****!!! Is there actually anyone out there who invested their money and got ripped off? That's the only thing I would like to know!!!!

The answer to that is NO.Nobody has lost a cent! any post claiming to have lost money is bogus. The problem is that P2P is paying late, but that's all.Eventually we will see the outcome of plans in place to recitify the situation. |

OK, I've done a little research here. First off, I personally know people that have invested and cashed out in the P2P program. That wasn't enough for me so I did some searching and found forums like this one where some people call it a scam and others say it works...still not enough for me so I dug a little deeper.
I've contacted to OSC and they have no record of this company, makes sense since they're not Canadian based, neither are they American based. They may be a Ponzi and may go down someday but as of right now they are still running, my friends are still getting paid and neither Canada nor the US are in the process of shutting them down. I am making my first investment. Chose to do the 30 day just to see what happens. If I lose it then oh well, lost more in a casino...several times. You have to look at the risk/reward and in my eyes this one is worth it. If I lose I won't come back and cry like a baby as I'm a grown man and I chose to do this knowing the risks. We'll see what happens |

That's a problem since they need to be registered in some way in order to legally offer investments to US and Canadian citizens. Quote:
The people who answer the phones aren't going to be aware of on-going investigations. You'd need to talk to the people who do that and in most cases they're not going to tell you anything until they make some official announcement so that investigations aren't compromised. All that it really tells you is that they've not yet done so. |

Nice to see an intelligent person joining. Weather you chose to join or not is not the issue but the fact that you calculate the risk and go in knowing it was your choice, you were not misled. As you say, I have lost a lot more money in a couple hours at the casino. Welcome to the p2p member family! What I don't understand is the people that chose not to get in but they see it as some kind of agenda to call people names that got in it and do their darnedest to get the site to fail. Seems they would have better things to do with their time especially when they claim how smart they are and how much money they have. |

Well, like I said, I know too many people that are actually doing this and getting paid. I see it before my own eyes. I know there's still risk involved but I would be pretty stupid to see all this money getting made right in front of me and I sit on my butt and do nothing. |

They're not going to say that it's a scam until they determine it to be as a result of their investigation. They do issue warnings like that released by the ND securities authorities once they have determined that there's enough to assume some violation of law. At the point that they make some official release they'll tell you but not necessarily before. They will tell you whether it's legal for a company to offer an investment to the public without proper registration (it's not). Given the ND warning and the fact that they cannot legally offer investments to the public in virtually any country without proper registration, that is something to worry about in the case of P2P. |

Those people are in well ahead of you. With payments at plus 60 days late and in a relatively old "program," by putting money in now you're betting that it lasts long enough for your spend to reach the end of the minimum time before you can request a withdrawl plus, assuming that it gets no worse, an additional 60 days beyond that to receive payment after making a request. So, being realistic about it, anyone getting in now is making a bet that they'll still be here 6 months from now when you'd be getting anything back out. |
