Hi,
Just needed some advice please!! I am from the UK. I met my Ex-partner on a gap-year to Canada. Falling pregnant, I wanted our relationship to work and stayed in Canada to try. But I moved back to the UK from Canada with our son, soon after the birth, as our relationship just wasn't working. My ex-partner (my son's father) is Canadian and is still resident in BC, Canada. I now live with my parents and have a very low income. My Ex has not paid any child support for our son. He earns a good wage - at least 80,000 CDN. I have asked him to pay, and yet, he insists he has no money??!! He also says he shouldn't have to pay because he has to come from Canada to UK to see our son. Can he do this? Thanks very much - any advice welcome!! K |
