Damaged due to subsidised US exports.
CAN I SUE THE US EXPORTER AND / OR SUBSIDISING AGENCY?
I am the pioneer of turkey farming in Thailand, but it has been a real struggle, and so for many years I have been trying to relocate to nearby Malaysia, which has a much larger and year round market. I have been unable to get my project financed due to highly subsidised imports spoiling the market. Imported US skinless boneless turkey breast is 12.50 Ringgit / kg Imported US skinless boneless thigh is 10.50 Ringgit / kg Imported US whole carcass oven ready is 11.50 Ringgit / kg The whole carcass price is acceptable. THE BONELESS MEAT IS SUBSIDISED TO THE TUNE OF 5 OR 6 RINGGIT / KG THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS !!!! This matter has caused me considerable hardship. |
