I am British, I am based in Thailand.
I am currently pursuing a debtor in the Thai courts. The Thai subsidiary (wholely owned) of a major Dutch company, providing services to the debtor, is joint defendent, due to the fact that they obstructed the case by withholding warehouse / delivery documents. 1/The Thai-Dutch company collected goods from my farm, and stored them in their freezer. The MD, who is very tricky, claimed that the out-of store documents were confidential, and that he could not release them without the permission of the client (debtor). IS THIS LEGAL? I have twice complained to the Holding Company in Holland about the misconduct of the MD, but to no avail. 2/Can I sue the Holding Company for damages in the Dutch courts? The lawyer for the Thai-Dutch company is using a RACIST THAI LAW to try to have my legal action terminated, 3/Can I bring a CRIMINAL ACTION against the Holding company in Holland? |

You can have the court require any and all related documents be produced from either of the two companies if they are acting together.
