Default Visa, divorce (Mauritius/ Ireland)

Hi my boyfriend is living in Mauritius, he is already waiting for 4 months, for student visa. He was staying in Ireland for last 2 years on student visa but he apply for work permit (got a refusal) thats why 5 months ago he had to come back to Mauritius and apply again, now he is waiting for 4 months and we r worry if he will get it..and what to do if he will get refusal again? He is also planing apply for divorce here in Ireland as he is married for over 4 years with an Indian girl in Mauritius, she left him over one year ago when they were staying in Ireland (she is living in Mauritius now). It will be possible for him to apply for divorce if he is staying in Ireland on student visa?if not then how to do it? Thanks for answer

I wish to inform you that to obtain a work visa in Ireland your boyfriend must have a job offer with a minimum pay of 30,000 Euro per year. The employer must thereafter pay a 1,500 Euro fee for two years to the Dept. of Trade and submit a labour market test. The labour market test takes about two months. It would be difficult for your boyfriend to get a work visa in Ireland. To get a divorce in Ireland, your boyfriend should have stayed apart from his spouse for 4 out of the previous 5 years. Presently, the separation period is only one year.
