Unpaid loan in a foreign country
I am a permanet resident alien of the United States and have a student loan debt in a foreign country that I have not paid. Can this foreign government obtain a US judgement to put a lien on my property, or garnish my wages? I will be contacting them to negotiate a payment plan, but would like to know what kind of leverage they have first.

They legally can but often will not due to the time and expense
