Italian law question - contract
Hi, I have a question about Italian contract law. I entered into an agreement with my landlord to rent a room up until mid-September. This is a short, signed document that does not say that I cannot move out. In various emails with him, he has agreed that I can move out if necessary. Now that I said I am moving, he is refusing to give back my two months' rental deposit. As a student, this is money that I need to live on and was counting on, since it is my money and not his. What is my recourse? A lawyer, the police, the embassy?

You can threaten to sue him for the amounts...the police will not handle it unfortunately.
