Child Custody/Intl' Law Question
I have a 9 yr old son who lives with his mother in Mexico. I don't show up as his father in his birth certificate, it's blank for father but he is my son. We were never married.
I am a US resident. His mother is a Mexican national. My son is a US citizen. How can I get custody of him and bring him to live in NV with me? I assume I have rights because he is my son? I have no idea where to start. Please help! |

You have some rights but cannot take him away from the mother. You can file in Mexico for partial custody and visitation. Or you two can agree some schedule (and have a court approve it if you want it binding).
