Verify Chinese Export Company

Hi,

I've recently been contact by a company in China and wanted to know if they are legitimate or not.

We've read a lot of threads to watch out for scammers in China so just wanted to know if anyone knew about this company...

This company in China sent us large contract but wanted us to visit and sign it in their office. We like to know if they are legitimate or scammers and if anyone knows or dealt with them before.

Regarding Fujian Wanxin Imp. & Exp. Trading Co., Ltd.

1. I have searched this company's name in Chinese on google.com and google.cn, but can not find it (I use chinese letter 万鑫 firstly and then 万新 and 万信 for the "Wanxin" name-chinese letters have same pronunciations but the letter is different).
2. I searched the company's phone# and found the information (pls check here 592-3117209 - Google Search for yourself). CHECK THE COMPANY'S ADDRESS CAREFULLY! THERE ARE PROBLEMS, RIGHT? It happens than many chinese companies have a factory in the industrial zone and then set up a trading company in downtown, but they should use the same address.
3. As we all know, when we search a company with it's full name on google.com, the first one should be its website----it is common in china that almost every factory (not to mention trading company) doing exp./imp. have their website.

Therefore, I suggest very very very careful when dealing such kinds of company!

Regarding Fujian Wanxin Imp. & Exp. Trading Co., Ltd.
1. I have searched this company's chinese name with chinese letter 万鑫 and then 万新 and 万信 (chinese letters with same pronunciations differs) on google.com and google.cn, but can not get any information in Chinese.
2. I searched the company's phone# and got no information from baidu.com (the biggest search engine in China, providing chinese searching service) and get some information from google.com (you can do the same thing and check the address carefully). From google.com, CHECK CAREFULLY ON THE ADDRESS, IT DIFFERS, RIGHT? Indeed, there are companies with factory in the industrial zone and have trade company in downtown in China, but they should use the same address.
3. We all know that when we search a company with its full name on google.com, the first one should be its website, but this company do not have! It is very common for a factory (not to mention trading company) in china doing exp. business to have a website.

Therefore, I suggest be very very very careful when dealing this company.

Regarding Zhengzhou Zhonghuan Import & Export Trade Co.Ltd, their website is http://www.hnzhonghuan.cn and can not visited, I have check the domain name from whois.com and it shows "Expiration Date: 2010-06-13 10:30", WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COMPANY?

I have been cheated my a company called, Meiyun Glass thier website www.meiyunglass.com

Address:518#,5floor, wuchang technology pioneering center, No.22,tieji road, yangyuan street, wuhan 430063,china.
Copy Right: Meiyun(wuhan) Glass Technology Co. Ltd.

They took 26000$ from me and sent me garbage, now no listening to claims.

I made a big mistake, anothers please dont trust meiyun.
