Our company provides legal services in the Slovak Republic, with a full appreciation of the law of the European Union. In co-operation with partner law firms, we are able to cover projects realised in the Czech Republic and other countries. We specialise in business law where we have substantial expertise mainly with respect to greenfield projects, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, corporate law, law of contract, competition law, state aid, and employment law, as well as litigation and domestic and international arbitration. We provide our services in English, French and, of course, Slovak language.

Mgr.Peter Bartošík

Peter is a licensed attorney at law and a partner of the law firm B & S Legal. His main areas of activity include representation of English speaking clients with respect to a diverse variety of commercial deals, such as mergers and acquisitions (including legal due diligence), green field projects, competition (including notifications of concentration to the Slovak AMO) and general corporate and commercial work.

Peter has recently successfully advised clients on a number of real estate projects, including project financing. In addition, Peter has experience with a number of successful litigations in Slovak courts and debt enforcement for foreign and Slovak clients. Furthermore, Peter has substantial experience with international arbitration and debt enforcement for a major foreign financial institution. In addition to Slovak being his native language, Peter speaks fluent English and is able to communicate in German as well.


Mgr.Boris Šváby

Boris is a licensed attorney at law and a partner of the law firm B & S Legal. His main areas of activity include representation of English and French speaking clients with respect to a diverse range of commercial deals, such as mergers and acquisitions (including legal due diligence), green field investment projects (including construction law matters), competition law issues, as well as general corporate and commercial work.

Boris has also advised clients on various matters of EU law. In addition, Boris has had experience with a number of successful litigations in Slovak courts and debt enforcement for foreign and Slovak clients. Boris also specializes in the area of PPP projects, whose development on the Slovak market is gradually increasing.
Being a native Slovak speaker, Boris also speaks fluent English and French.
