What is the best e-commerce canton to set up business in Switzerland.

We have heard the Zurich area, then Zug, or others

Which is best?

Zug is well known for facilitating e-commerce firms. And start-ups.

And tax rates are favorable and can be negotiated.

When we set up in Zug costs in the end were around 5500 CHF.

It can be a bit bureaucratic too. Not like the US company process so don't expect that.

I paid 5500 USD this month for everything, all flings etc., just FYI

I was quoted 5000 USD by two firms in Zug, just fyi.

I was socked by a local law firm in Zurich with a bunch of added expenses for just a regular GmbH. I would suggest you see all fees etc. in advance on a schedule.

Lots of corp. red tape so consider if you really want to be there or in some easier jurisdiction.
