I live in Ontario Canada. My boyfriend borrowed 180,000.00 Canadian dollars with the understanding that he would repay as "our" tour business improved. He lives in Barbados. He is now claiming that the money was a gift and that he doesn't need to repay it. I have all but one record of the transactions. I have since learned that he has deceived many others, nevertheless I no longer have relations with him. How can I begin to recover the money?

You can sue him for any oral or written agreement.
You may even be able to file charges for fraud and theft depending on the circumstances. |
