I am interested in purchasing a 2007 Aston Martin Vantage Convertible from the United States and shipping it to Turkey (turkiye) where i plan to sell for +++.. I have dual citizenship (Turkish + American) and I'm 19yrs old.
I've heard, but have no validation, that because of my situation I may send 1 vehicle per 5yr period tax-free and because of that I've chosen the most profitable + quickest selling car if i can only do it once every 5yrs. I'm looking into associating myself with the business of exporting luxury/exotic vehicles to Turkey in the nearest possible future and I understand there are taxes of all sorts, but now is a moment when my financial backing is strong, and I would like to invest in this business as quickly/proficiently as possible. I believe I can, for the most part, get the car there, but I simply do not get answers from Google searches or calling the Turkish Consulate in the US nor the Customs in Turkey on what taxes and other fees i will be looking at, how many cars I can bring into their country with or without paying taxes, how those taxes are determined, how many I can legally sell there and in what time frame, and so on.. Please, any information on how I can get started, most preferably with this first sale to further financially support getting my business started, would make me unimaginably grateful and regardless I thank you all for your time and attention ![]() -Mr.Ayaz |
