My brother in law's father just passed away. He did not have health insurance. The hospital he was in is going to try to make his son pay for the hospital bill. Is this something that can be faught or will he be stuck with the bill?

No he need not pay that.
But the estate must pay all creditors to the extent the estate has any assets. |
