My vehicle was recently broken into and the insurance company has so far declined my claim of approx. $10,000 worth of personal property. They now want me to sign a waiver so that they can check my financial history. I have sent an email to the VP of claims to voice my anger and have declined to sign the waiver as I believe that they are taking things too far. What rights do I have? I have provided them with more than enough information including receipts, names of witnesses, telephone records and now they are taking it too far.

They can refuse to pay and then all of this would be done in court.
It may help to at least give items directly related to the claim. |
