German gov. making claims
Does the German Welfare Department have the right to demand money from my mother, (came over from Germany about 40 years ago)a 75 year old Widower who has her Canadian Citizenship for 251 plus years and living in Ontario. This stems from one of her children who never got her Canadian Citizenship and abandoned her 2 children and had no contact with any family members for about 19 years and is now living in Germany (which we found out about 3 months ago if that long) and was receiving treatment from a mental institution for a short period and is no longer in their custody?
