I have a question and I hope someone can point me in the right direction. Two of my Nephews who incidently work at the same place, had their motorcycles stolen from the parking lot of their employer, while they were out on the road working. Security cameras were unable to make out the plate on the vehicle that the assalents were driving. My question is this, can a claim be filed with the insurance company of the employer for compensation? It is a MAJOR corporation. Whould or should they be liable? Unfortunately, neither bike had theft insurance.
Hope someone can help! |

Employers are normally not liable for parking lot thefts. Unless it is enclosed, protected and run solely by them etc.
