hit a golf ball through the windshield of a course owned golf cart
I recently hit a golf ball through the windshield of a course owned golf cart --- I did not sign any forms when receiving the golf cart, nor were the signs posted. The cart path was in front of the tee box, however I parked the cart to the side. I shanked the ball 90 degrees through the windshield. The owner said I was liable. I feel like the golf course owner bears the liability of the golf cart while on a golf course.
