My husband was waiting to make a left turn at an intersection, when a Van stopped and Yeilded. The Van was on the left lane of a two-way lane.As my husband started to make the turn, a car coming on the lane parallel to the Van, hit him side on.The Cop did not give a ticket to either party. The damage to my husbands car is severe and the Cop asked my husband to check with the other driver to see if both the Insurance Companies would chip in for the Repair cost.My question is, in such a scenario when both the parties have not been issued a ticket, does any liability lie with the other persons Insurance Company to chip in, for the Repair Costs?

Then the insurers look at it and decide who is at fault if anybody in their opinion. Or you can sue among yourselves in small claims court as well.

After the car accident, Janice reported it to her insurance agent.Accidents don't just happen on the roads. They can occur in your office, while traveling or entertaining, or even at home while doing everyday chores.

Hi,
One year ago I take a health insurance policy of USA-Healthinsurance.com. But I thought that this is wastage of money. Few days ago there was a small accident with my wife and the entire bill (doctor, medicine etc) paid by insurance company and I did not spend a single cent. Now I realize that by taking a health insurance policy is not wastage of money. Last edited by ronniehamilton; Oct 15th, 2009 at 01:49 AM. |
