I was hit at a crosswalk intersection

So yesterday Me and my girlfriend were having a regular day.My Girlfriend had work that day and i had the day off. I decided i wanted to walk her to work. So as we started our little adventure we decided to stop at the bank and take care of some business. We waited about 3 - 5 minutes at the south west corner for the Green Walk guy to go on. And lo and behold it turned green and the Loud Noise was beeping for blind people. We got about half way through the first lane when my girlfriend yelled or screamed and i turned and we got hit a turning car coming for the east lane. I remember seeing the hood, so does my girlfriend. but after that we don't remember falling down, but we were defiantly on the ground. We are pretty sure we both passed out. I got up and helped my girlfriend to the curb. We got hit hard enough that my girlfriends show was found a good 3 or 4 feet from us. When we got up there was a witness there right away and he was calling the police. He said we were hit about 4 -5 feet.

We went the the hospital late last night and my g/f got xrays but they didnt find anything. We both had to call in work today.

My girlfriend has: Her back hurts around the ribcage.Sore leg, shoulder knee

I have: My back hurts, lower back, bottom of my neck, i had a headache last night, and i found it hard to concentrate. the left side of my face hurts this morning and my leg hurts.

The doctor said to "leave it"

Also i might point out this woman was 79 years old, and she didnt care she hit us. She said and i quote " Why are they making such a Kerfuffle "

We have all of her Insurance information and the Collision Report

Is there any possability of a settllement, we had teh witness talk to the police and he also said we were in the crosswalk, so did the woman (driver).
